All-on-4, All-on-5 & All-on-6 – Fixed Implant Solutions for Fully Edentulous Jaws
The All-on-4, All-on-5, and All-on-6 concepts are revolutionary solutions for patients who have lost all teeth in one or both jaws.
These methods provide a fixed, aesthetically and functionally superior dental restoration, relying on 4, 5, or 6 implants, depending on the anatomical structure of the patient’s bone.
At MUSICDENT, we use BEGO and NOBEL implants to ensure excellent biocompatibility, durability, and stability of the prosthetic work.
All-on-4 and All-on-5
All-on-4 – utilizes four implants: two placed in the front region and two angled in the posterior area (often in the premolar zone when there’s insufficient bone in the molar area). This provides optimal support for a fixed bridge.
All-on-5 – an additional fifth implant offers enhanced stability and a more even distribution of masticatory forces.

All-on-6
All-on-6 is considered the most biomechanically ideal option, as it ensures optimal implant-gingival load distribution across the bone — similar to natural dentition.
This design enhances stability, reduces stress on each individual implant, and—when combined with proper hygiene and regular check-ups—significantly extends the lifespan of both the implants and the prosthesis.
Postoperative Phase
After implant placement, a healing period of 4 to 6 months is required for osseointegration — the process in which the implant naturally bonds with the bone.
During this time, patients do not have to remain without teeth. Several temporary options are available:
Temporary full dentures – removable prostheses used to maintain aesthetics, function, phonation, soft tissue support, and the height of the future prosthetic work.

Temporary Prosthetic Solutions
If the surgeon determines that the implants have achieved good primary stability, it is sometimes possible to fabricate an immediate temporary fixed bridge.
This bridge maintains all the patient’s oral functions and provides an aesthetic smile during the healing phase.
Final Prosthetic Work and Procedures After Osseointegration
Once osseointegration is complete, the patient returns for:
- Implant exposure and stability measurement – if all implants show satisfactory stability, healing abutments are placed to shape the ideal emergence profile around each implant, ensuring a natural-looking gum contour.
If stability is not yet sufficient, the check is repeated after one month. - Impression taking – seven days after the placement of healing abutments, impressions are taken to begin fabrication of the final All-on prosthetic work, which typically takes 5 to 10 working days, depending on the complexity of the case.
Prosthetic Material Options
- Acrylic teeth – an economical solution providing natural aesthetics and function, most commonly used for All-on-4 fixed prostheses.
- Zirconia teeth – a premium option offering superior aesthetics, high durability, and natural translucency — ideal for All-on-5 and All-on-6 cases.
Maintenance of All-on Restorations
To ensure long-term implant health and maintain aesthetic and functional quality of your prosthetic work, proper and daily oral hygiene is essential.

At MUSICDENT, we provide all patients with detailed instructions and education for at-home maintenance.
Recommendations:
- Annual check-ups with professional cleaning and polishing (scaling and air-flow) to preserve hygiene and the longevity of the work.
- Special floss for cleaning underneath fixed bridges – used 1–2 times per week for thorough hygiene.
- Water flosser (oral irrigator) – highly recommended for daily use.
